Rack Power Supply
20-port 24 / 28 V DC passive PoE — 19" rackmount.
A 19-inch rackmount power supply that delivers 24 V or 28 V DC passive Power-over-Ethernet on 20 ports — purpose-built to power a cabinet of Robot terminals and supporting accessories from a single, serviceable unit. No more individual wall-warts; everything runs off Cat-5/Cat-6 from the rack.
Key features
20 passive PoE ports — feeds a full cabinet of Robot terminals from one unit
Selectable 24 V DC or 28 V DC output to suit the connected device range
19" rackmount form factor — slots into any standard packhouse network cabinet
Passive PoE injection — no negotiation overhead, predictable behaviour with Robot hardware
Centralised power means clean cabling and a single point for maintenance and isolation
No electricians required at the terminal end — power runs over the same Cat-5/Cat-6 as data, so no new mains plug points need to be installed at the floor
Single point for backup power — protect the whole deployment by adding a UPS or backup supply at the rack instead of at every terminal
Applications
Robot terminal cabinets — power 20 fixed terminals from a single rack unit
Printer & accessory power — drive Robot Printer Housings and other passive-PoE accessories from the same supply
New-build packhouse installations — keep cabinet wiring tidy and serviceable from day one
Retrofits — replace a forest of wall adapters with a single rackmount supply
Why a dedicated PoE rack supply
A typical packhouse cabinet ends up with dozens of small DC adapters — one per terminal, scanner, or printer. They fail individually, take up space, generate heat, and make troubleshooting tedious. The Rack Power Supply consolidates that into a single 19" unit: 20 passive-PoE ports feeding 24 V or 28 V DC over standard Cat-5/Cat-6 to wherever it needs to go.
Designed for Robot deployments
Selectable 24 V or 28 V output covers the full Robot terminal range and accessories such as the Printer & Robot Housing. Passive PoE injection keeps behaviour predictable and avoids any negotiation surprises with embedded devices.
